(More customer reviews)I read his first book and found it informative. Not great, but informative. This one took a fall downward. It spends far more time and words dissing employers and/or jobs he's had than constructively dissecting the conditions or work. He needed a BIG CHUNK of cheese to go with his wine (whine).
I've worked for and/or around some of the employers and situations he uses as examples and not experienced half of the complaints he focuses on. This book and his story seem an example of 'if you look for and live in the negative, you'll find it.'
There are a lot of positives in the job and, if you look for them, you'll find them.
After about a quarter-million miles in the last three years, and about 100,000 in the past year, if it wasn't any better than Richards found it I would have gotten out on day three.
